Last Leg.

Hey all!  Finals are coming up really quickly and I need to do some massive studying before that happens >.<  But in other news, I am currently gearing up to apply for medical school, studying for the MCAT, doing all that I can before DDAY which I shall dub June 1st.  It is sort of stressful, and I feel like I'm on my own over here, but I know I'm not.  And I also know that I will be fine.  Talking to all of these different people and getting their knowledge is quite interesting because the people who you don't believe will help you, turns out to be more helpful than you initially think.  All I can say for now [since I need to rush to work soon] is that keep faith in me, follow me and my twitter, and I love all of you guys for doing so :)

I'll try post after work again, since I've been slacking a little but until the next update, I wish you all the best!

Re-Initialized.

Finally Michael has caught a second-wind! Hello all! Thank you for reading, the fact you are reading this right now means you care :') But furthermore, I shall update you on what has been going on in my life right now. Currently academics and MCAT studying are wreaking me o.o I have so much that I do in such a short amount of time that it makes me stressed! But 괜찮아요. I should be fine for now, seeing as I am able to juggle it still :p Physics and Calculus at the same time is not as stressful as some people had painted it to be so I'm doing fine there, Philosophy is the killer for me right now seeing as I have lost my ability for argumentation and writing. The MCAT classes are relatively easy, not causing me too much stress, aside from the fact I have a ton of homework piling up from it, but I will attempt to finish that during break for Thanksgiving or for Winter Break and Christmas. My life is practically over for now, the dread of Junior year for me -_- But I shall still attempt to do everything I can to juggle all that I can and be there for people as much as humanly possible [until I gain my god power like Hercules haha]. But I shall keep you updated, check my FB and Twitter for daily updates from me. And for medical students out there, just a little something that I found interesting. It is a radio talk of cardiac disease, so you can try listen to it since it isn't that long.

Sickness.

AUGH! I was hit by the flu-virus and feel like I may die :p  But I'll be fine.  Nothing much has happened in the past weeks that I had neglected to post again, however I did go to my sister's wedding last weekend, so I flew back home. I got exposed to the Hawaii weather, then my health declined again -_- all I can say for vog and all the other goodies that Hawaii holds.  But it was nice and warm over there, and I did get to talk with a lot of my friends' parents while I was there [it was a nice surprise, and seeing as my friends are in school over here in the mainland, I wouldn't expect them to be in Hawaii as well].  Catching up with everyone was nice, my sister's wedding was nice as well, but unfortunately I had a high fever towards the middle of her reception so I excused myself and found it to be 103 >.>  Tooks my physics exam with it and I'm sure I scored fine, but generally getting over the lagging symptoms of this cold and hope to be at 100 percent by next week.  Stay tuned!!

A Medical Experience Not to Forget...

I keep on forgetting to post on here, but I will again try to post on here.  I currently have a blog on here, as well as on my Inspiration Exchange that goes directly through AMSA so feel free to look me up and follow both of my blogs!  Nothing too hard as of now, I had just come back from the AMSA ARC/UCD conference in Davis and I have no clue how to describe it.  It was so amazing, and I feel as if I have learned so much just by going!  I learned about the medical application process, interview skills, and the list goes on [I'm a little lazy to write right now].  Classes are alright, but I should update my schedule for I am a lot busier than what the calender from a few months ago say.  Otherwise, stay tuned and feel free to play with my fishies in the upper right!

AfterBurn.

Hello everyone, thank you for all of the awesomeness you guys show!  Just a brief update as to what has been happening recently with me.  So far, I have gotten my first haircut since the past 9 months and look a little differently :3 (A picture is uploaded to Twitter but not FB, since they are all a bunch of ungrateful nuggets).  So far I have been slacking on forming the AMSA club, I need to get in contact to see if it is even prudent to create the club, given how much stress I already have, but I shall persevere and see how it goes.  It would look good for me, but Pre-Health is off to a really great start so it may not even be needed.  Also I need to attend the first Pre-Health meeting and AMSA UW meeting to get the gist of what is going on between the two, how they are similar and different.  Academics is alright, the classes are much more time-consuming than I thought, but if I cut my sleep then I should be able to pull it off.  Plus having Fridays and Saturdays free is extremely helpful to me.  Love life is empty, sad day for Michael -_-  But it is alright, still breakdancing and studying for the MCAT to clear my head from stress.  Also Korean and Japanese stuff!  I am also listening to music and watching dramas, so it is a nice escape from the stress of the real-world.  Volunteering at multiple places at once, making Michael's head hurt @.@  But until next time, make sure to keep in touch and follow!!

The Danger Approaches...

Hi you all!  It has been a while since I last updated my blog, as you can clearly see the last update being last month, but I will tell you this, not much has changed since then!  So far, I am still working on developing that AMSA club, and I decided it would be prudent to work on it while school is in session because: 1) I can get officers more easily, and 2) I can talk to Becca at better times.  But I won't delve a whole lot deeper in that, all I know is that I need to make a blog to support the club and we should be almost 50% of the way functional!  But on a side note, I can't believe I am 20, I feel so old now compared to my counterparts.I guess it has it's perks, but for the most part, I'm just doing basically nothing. Just relaxing for another week until dreadful school starts, and that is when my schedule will become ridiculous.  I have my new schedule up, so I will most likely post it later.  Running out of space because I rambled too much but expect an update on here really soon!

Daily Routine = Workaholic.

So I diagnose myself (yes, I am a doctor....in my mind) as a workaholic, seeing as I eat, sleep, and breathe life into forming this new chapter for AMSA at Seattle University.  I would say I've done a fair amount of work to this point in laying the foundation for this charter (mainly the constitution, bylaws, and general information that is needed), but I can't really continue forward until I get more members associated with this charter.  I need to get on top of getting officers to make the executive board, at the least, and begin constructing by the end of September, the very latest.  Perspective is what I need right now since I feel sort of like a dictator at this point, and don't care for all the power that comes with the executive president position; my main goal is just to help the future premeds, and act as a guiding tool for the executive officers since it is a really hard job to be the president.  I'll keep you updated, just volunteering now so I figured I might as well take a mental break from everything.

Less Stress in Life!!

Just put some intensive work into building the constitution and such, for the AMSA charter I have been doing.  Now, we decided on a blog instead of a website (Thank goodness!!), but I'll still try working on making a website for students, just to aid future generations in their quest to build this charter.  My stamina is fairly high, I would say, so I see myself leading this club for a while until I am succeeded by my successor upon graduation.  But that's all that's new for now, keep following for more updates!!

Troubles in the life, but good troubles.

Today I figured that the website is really difficult so I'll make the photoshop files, but I'll try see if I can get help from someone do the html and css since I don't have that much time anymore.  Just volunteered for the first time at Hope Heart, the office isn't too far away, and it was a relatively informational event.  I will more than likely help out a lot more frequently to learn more about the field I am interested in.  Random fact, I saw this article and laughed <http://www.latimes.com/news/science/sciencenow/la-heb-male-birth-control-pill-20120816,0,512749.story> If they do this, it is more than likely STDs will become more frequent, but I feel it is not that big of a deal, at least it will prevent pregnancy to those who want to do it so badly.  Off the side note, I am going to start the club's constitution tonight, and hopefully all will go well.  I'll try sending e-mails to my professors, and get all of that squared away.  I plan on learning more about AMSA for another week before presenting it to Becca for approval, but the only thing I can say for myself is 마이그씨화이팅!!

And hence began my long journey....

I thought that the past year was horrid, scheduling-wise.  Well I was completely wrong.  Today, upon the support of my friend Shelley, I plan on forming the first-ever AMSA chapter at Seattle University for pre-medical students!!  It is a lot of work I will tell you, first we need to designate officers, draw up a constitution with bylaws, get approval from the pre-health adviser, successfully have 5 people become national members, create/design a website, gain contacts from everywhere, and a lot more.  STRESS! But I am sure I will be fine, I tend to do way better under stress since I keep calm.  But please give me moral support as I journey along this extremely difficult road to begin this chapter for future generation pre-medical students attending Seattle University!

My potential schedule for next academic year.

So this is what my schedule looks like, for those of you who are following.  I haven't put in all of my schedules yet since they are slowly coming in, but I will be busy most of the time when school starts, so I apologize in advance if I don't contact you guys or if I forget!!  I'll try and set time aside to remember but more than likely I'll use that time to focus on my studies and such.  GAH, a month and 4 days before this schedule is implemented!!!

Day 1: Commencement

First day on Blogspot, super stoked!  My "About Me" section pretty much covers what is going to happen on this blog, so you can look forward to regular updates on here and my medical adventures.  As of right now, planning on enter medical school ~July 2014, which means I will be applying for medical school at the end of this upcoming school year.  I am a currently a junior, as of the 2012-2013 school year at Seattle University, studying Biology as a pre-med student.
As of now, I currently don't have any plans as to which medical school I would like to attend, but I shall get that sorted out soon enough.  Trying to get as much as I can done as an undergrad, as well as getting exposure to the medical community to gain experience through that as well, since I begin applying for medical school next year.  MCAT is projected to be taken in January 2013, right after I study during Winter break.
Let me know if there is anything else you want to know, and I'll try and update my blog as quickly as I can!!!
